Our history

The PBC was located in City of London at 2 London Wall Buildings, London Wall from November 1993 until 1998.

Now in the new technological era we operate as a virtual web site. The new name is POLISH BUSINESS EURO CLUB. Its prime objective is to facilitate the successful completion of the central purpose of the PBC by providing assistance with the following:

  • Inward investment in Poland and other new EU members by international Companies.
  • Partnership ventures between Polish, Central and East European and international companies for trade in Poland and Central Eastern Europe.
  • International companies wishing to establish a base in Poland or other new EU states.
  • Polish companies wishing to establish a partnership with international companies creating a base in the United Kingdom or export to the United Kingdom and  the rest of world.

The PBEC aims to promote Polish and Central East European business potential and the services offered through a one stop information point, together with analytical facts and figures these words from The Mayor of City of London in 1993 were the starting point of a long journey that the PBC has travelled over the past 13 years.

“I am delighted to welcome the opening of the Polish Business Centre which will reinforce the City of London's trading links with Poland which go back at least to 1325. The City of London is the World's largest centre for international financial and professional services and as such provides a gateway to the World. Not surprisingly many of the firms based here are already active in Poland. I hope that this new Centre will further reinforce the business links betweenour two countries.”

Speach by

The Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Paul Newall
